Paintception series
Art doesn’t always need a grand meaning. Sometimes I just love the paint itself. So I made Paintception: me painting me painting me. Pure fun, pure medium, no explanation needed.
My work is rooted in a love for people, places, and color. Whether it’s the depth of oil paint or the lightness of watercolor, I use each medium to capture connection and atmosphere.
People
I’ve always loved drawing people and bodies. Maybe because there’s a science to it. I took a figure drawing class that cemented my love for the process, the way art and anatomy overlap
Places
I always catch myself pulling out my camera on trips, trying to grab the perfect photo to paint later. It’s so easy to rush past a beautiful place, but painting forces me to slow down and give it the time it deserves. Whether it’s architecture abroad or a corner of my own bedroom, it becomes more lived-in once I’ve spent time with it, layering it with my touch.
